Patients and families who require the best personal care services, request DRCR to assist them as a home care agency who can provide the perfect solution. DRCR can offer a range of services that can be delivered in the comfort of a patient’s home wherever that may be. Our Home Health Aides (HHA) provide the requested daily care and assistance needed to maintain a safe environment and to improve the quality of life of our patients and their families. Reporting between HHA and our Nursing staff is required up to two times a day on each patient in order for us to respond accordingly to an immediate need that may arise.

Our HHA are trained to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide personal and/or limited health-related services as ordered in the individual’s care plan. These services include but are not limited to:

• Bathing
• Shaving
• Mouth care
• Skin care
• Dressing
• Passive range of motion
• Positioning
• Ambulation and transfers
• Feeding
• Toileting

• Medication reminder
• Assist with essential shopping/errands
• Help with meal prep; this may include following a specialized diet plan as identified on the care plan
• Escort clients to appointments (if necessary and with prior DRCR approval)
• Perform light house cleaning tasks including but not limited to Laundry, Bed Care and Bathroom Care.
